County fair is going to be here before we know it. Families are busy preparing in different ways - registering for the classes to exhibit in, working with their projects, thinking about how they can volunteer, etc. There are a lot of pieces to think about and it can be overwhelming, especially if this is a newer part of your life. Some of our seasoned youth and adult volunteers would like to help make this experience a smoother one.

In order to work for someone other than a family member and operate machinery between the ages of 14 and 16 youth must have completed a safety certification course. This course counts towards that requirement! Certification is for ages 14+ and registration will open in Mid April.

“I pledge my hands to larger service..” is not just the 4-H pledge but a practice Minnesota 4-H youth integrate with their daily lives. Thanks to special funding from Compeer Financial, youth across the state partnered with local food shelves and nutrition organizations to support neighbors in need.
