County fair is going to be here before we know it. Families are busy preparing in different ways - registering for the classes to exhibit in, working with their projects, thinking about how they can volunteer, etc. There are a lot of pieces to think about and it can be overwhelming, especially if this is a newer part of your life. Some of our seasoned youth and adult volunteers would like to help make this experience a smoother one.
On Monday, June 13 starting at 6:00 pm, Fair 101 will be offered to all families. The information that will be shared is geared towards new families and families new to project areas who have questions. During our time together, you'll hear about some basic information that pertains to all families (registration, volunteer experiences, what to expect upon arrival at the fair and get the feel for what a judging experience might look like). There will be time built in for conversations with youth and adults for the different animal species, help with FairEntry registration and more. The night will conclude with a barn tour to help give a better sense of direction. This is a great opportunity to get your lingering questions answered!
Pre-registration is not required. However, we are asking potential participants to fill out a Google form that will give us a better idea of who we might see that night!
