The Rice County 4-H Ambassador program is open to 4-H youth in grades 7 and above who wish to develop and use their leadership skills at the county level. This energetic group meets on a monthly basis and works closely with their peers.
Meetings typically have fun built into them but may also include service projects, planning for upcoming events, and focus on skill development. Examples of past activities this group has participated in include hosting a blood drive, planning and holding a community-wide Easter egg hunt, Fair 101, service projects and helping with fair activities.
Applications are now available for the 2023-2024 4-H year and are due on Monday, Sept. 25. Youth can either submit the application via Google Form or download, print and turn in the hard copy. If you have any questions, contact Kelly at chadw021@umn.edu or 507-332-6163.
