4-H is for all youth, from kindergarten through one year past high school. 4-H welcomes boys, girls and adults from all backgrounds and locations.
Now that you’ve enrolled in 4-H you are ready to begin working on your projects – but wait! What is a 4-H project? How do should you pick projects? What do you need to do to complete a project?
These resources provide ready to go lessons for Chisago County 4-H with most of the materials provided. They are best implemented at workshop days and 4-H club meetings.
What is an independent member? An independent member is a 4-H member who is not a part of a local 4-H Club, but continues to learn and lead in the 4-H program through the mentoring of a caring adult or volunteer.
This is the time of the year when so many questions arise around volunteering: leading a club, finances, charters, not to mention you want to kick of the year right and make a great meeting happen!
