Chisago County news

Rabbit project youth

Perhaps you already own animals and are wondering how to exhibit them in 4-H. Maybe you don’t have animals and aren’t sure if you want to commit to caring for an animal year-round. Good news! 4-H Livestock Projects can be adapted to fit any family’s situation – even if you live in town, you can participate in any of the 4-H Livestock Projects!

Our Garden Expo has moved online! As we are not able to have any in person activities this spring the Chisago County Master Gardeners (CCMG) have developed a list of dates and classes we would like to offer to all of you at NO COST. All classes will be hosted online using Zoom from 7:00 - 8:30 pm on Tuesday evenings.

The New Year is here which means it is time for 4-H families to consider what animals they will be exhibiting at the County Fair! Whether you are a new member or have been enrolled in the program for years it is important that you pay attention to the important information related to the Animal Identification process as there can be changes from year to year.

Project Pod

4-H remains committed to accomplishing our mission of building life skills, creating meaningful relationships and connecting with our communities. YOU can be a part of that solution by creating or joining a project pod this year.

As we enter in to winter after a great growing season in 2020 where so many more people tried their hand at growing their own produce during this unique year in our worlds history, we turn out thoughts to 2021.
