Anoka County 4-H news

4-H volunteers

Looking for an activity for your next meeting? Consider using a 4-H project kit or using a resource from the Anoka County 4-H office! 4-H project kits contain fun, hands-on learning activities to use with 4-H’ers at club meetings, after school sites, club camps, or other settings. Our resource list also contains other items that clubs can access from video equipment to teambuilding supplies.

Are you tired of all the plastic that we use and then just throw away? Many of us know all about recycling our plastic bottles and containers, but what about all of the plastic that surrounds the items we buy. Trex uses all those plastic items to create durable items.

The Anoka County 4-H Shooting Sports/Wildlife Committee offers a variety of shooting and wildlife activities for 4-H youth in grades 3 and up. These classes offer 4-H'ers the opportunity to learn about wildlife and develop shooting skills. Some of these activities involve 16 hours of training and are taught by volunteer 4-H leaders who have gone through certification and extensive training. All activities are both educational and fun. Equipment is provided.
