Ag marketing groups
Agricultural marketing groups meet throughout the state for Extension educators and producers to discuss current marketing issues and develop marketing plans for their farms.
Agricultural Tax Issues course
This course is for income tax professionals who work with farmers or agricultural professionals such as agricultural lenders and farm management instructors.
Central MN Ag Lenders Conference
The Central MN Ag Lenders Conference is a one-day conference held annually in early fall and brings together professionals in the agricultural lending and agricultural financing community from across the region. Each year, our speakers cover relevant agricultural finance topics varying from taxes to characteristics of a top-farmer. This conference will not be held in 2020. Check back for information in Fall 2021.
Dairy Risk Management Strategies workshops
Dairy Risk Management Strategies workshops compare the Farm Bill’s Dairy Margin Coverage with other risk management strategies. Determine which dairy programs are best for your dairy and learn the pros and cons of tools that can help you set a floor for your milk price. These events are free and typically held every four years after a new Farm Bill is passed.
