Good Nature Farm is a family farm and off-grid solar-powered homestead on Lake Superior's North Shore. They grow produce and raise laying hens. They sell their farm products at farmers markets, through CSAs, and to local restaurants, schools and food co-ops.
Meet farmers Nick and Kristin DeArruda Wharton and connect with fellow local farmers and producers.
Location: Meet at the farm field on the right-hand side just before fire number 122 on Casper’s Hill Road in Grand Marais. After visiting this field we will caravan to the main farmstead, approximately 3 miles up the road.
Directions: From Grand Marais, head north on Highway 61 for 11.4 miles. Turn left on County Road 14, then keep to the right after about 1 mile to turn on Casper’s Hill Road, (County Road 68). The field is on the right, just before fire number 122.
This offering is delivered in English. Interpreter services may be available with an advance request.
