Compassion fatigue (or compassion stress) can be referred to as the cost of caring and describes when someone experiences higher levels of stress because they care deeply, and the people and/or animals they are caring for are going through a highly stressful experience.

Many Minnesota farmers markets accept Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits when you shop with your Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card. SNAP/EBT customers can triple their purchasing power at participating farmers markets. In 2022, every $1 of SNAP/EBT benefits spent is matched by $1 in Market Bucks and $1 in Produce Market Bucks — up to $10 every time a customer visits the market.
