Things you can do in 4-H with horses
Bring your horse when you participate in these activities. Horses can be leased or owned.
Central Area 4-H Horse Camp
Horse camp is for youth in grades 3-12 and their families. The program includes: group lessons, education and fun while developing skills with your horse.
Drill Team
Learn coordination, timing, speed and synchronizing with other riders.
Horse training
Take an untrained horse through a six-step training program.
Miniature horses
If you have a horse that is 38 inches high or less, you can show it in a regional show. Classes are offered for Cloverbud, Junior and Senior divisions in showmanship, driving, costume, liberty, hunter, jumper and in-hand obstacle trail. See the Horse Program Rule Book for all details. MQHA Boot Camp
You and your horse may be interested in this three-day camp offered by the Minnesota Quarter Horse Association. (Not a 4-H event.)

A three-day gathering for youth in sixth grade or older.
