Beef production in Minnesota
A survey of Minnesota cow-calf and feedlot producers analyzed the state’s beef industry to determine how beef cattle are raised, retained on farms, and moved within the system. The University of Minnesota collaborated with the Minnesota Beef Council to characterize the Minnesota beef industry's movement and management decisions, to guide future research and identify key issues specific to Minnesota’s beef producers.
