The Minnesota 4-H State Ambassador team is excited to share that dates have been set for their youth leadership experiences in February and June.
Winter leadership workshops
In our winter youth leadership workshops, youth in grades 6 and up build leadership skills, form relationships with other youth and develop an understanding of themselves, their peers and their communities.
This experience is great for local ambassadors, teen teachers and any teen interested in building leadership skills and meeting others.
Dates by region:
- Central region - Feb. 1-2
- Southwest region - Feb. 8-9
- Southeast region - Feb. 15-16
- Northern region - Feb. 22-23
Registration will open on Nov. 11. We anticipate that the participant registration fee will be $100.

Statewide youth leadership conference
Our statewide youth leadership conference, also known as Youth Exploring Leadership and Learning Opportunities (YELLO), includes educational workshops, group networking experiences, inspiring messages from nationally recognized speakers, field trips and service projects.
This event is open to youth in grades 7 and up.
Our 2025 event is anticipated to be held June 10-13, and registration will open in early 2025.
