The 4-H local ambassador program is a leadership opportunity for youth in grades 6 through one year post-high school (grade 13), who represent a variety of 4-H projects, programs and groups.
Local ambassadors are role models for other youth involved in 4-H and are expected to be positive representatives of 4-H to the public.
For youth interested in becoming a local ambassador
4-H local ambassadors engage in training to build their leadership, communication, civic engagement and teamwork skills to prepare them for serving as a promoter and leader of their local 4-H program and within their community.
The 4-H program is implemented across the state, but not all 4-H local programs have an active ambassador program.
