Animal ID deadline is May 17 It's spring and time to identify the animals you may exhibit at the Nicollet County Fair, August 11-14. You can identify animals anytime between now and the May 17th deadline. Please plan to complete this process as soon as possible. Minnesota 4-H uses its online enrollment system, 4-H Online, to record all animal identifications and ownership data.
Minnesota 4-H is excited to offer a collection of monthly learning kits mailed directly to youth who are interested in exploring animal science! The Minnesota 4-H Livestock in a Box series will explore four livestock species: goats, rabbits, poultry and dairy.
Each year, four $400 scholarships are awarded to Blue Earth County and Nicollet County 4-H members graduating from high school. Two scholarships—one for 4-H achievement and one for livestock achievement—are awarded in each county thanks to cooperative funding from the Tri-County Fair Board, Blue Earth County 4-H, and Nicollet County 4-H.
In 2021 two $1000 scholarships will be awarded to Nicollet County 4-H members graduating from high school in 2021.
