4-H Youth Development
4-H is a hands-on learning program for Minnesota youth. We offer online, small group and independent learning experiences for youth of all ages. In 4-H, youth choose the topic they find interesting and caring adults support their learning and leadership. From agronomy to space exploration and creative arts to outdoor adventures, 4-H has just the right learning experience for young people.
Volunteer with 4-H to make a local impact
Get involved as a 4-H volunteer to help inspire our youth to learn and lead! Anyone age 19+ who cares about young people, you don't need to be a parent or an expert. To start the volunteer application process, arrange a meeting with the Isanti County 4-H Extension Educator.

Your contribution of any amount can be directed locally to support our 4-H program. 4-H reaches youth and families in positive ways across the county and around the state of Minnesota. Gifts support local programming coordinated by Isanti County Master Gardener volunteers.
We have a variety free seed packets available at the Extension Office in the Isanti Government Center and at the Cambridge Public Library. Including a diverse selection of vegetables, culinary and medicinal herbs, annual and perennial flowers, native plant species, and seeds that support pollinators and beneficial insects. There is a limit of 10 seed packets per person per day. The seed library operates year‑round, with new varieties added from mid‑January through February, so stop by then for the best selection.
