Dear friends,
This fall, Extension is beginning the process of updating its five-year strategic plan. The plan will help our organization set priorities and make decisions about how we can best serve our stakeholders. Our last plan began in 2020, and of course things have changed since that time.
One of Extension’s greatest strengths is that our employees, participants, volunteers and donors live and work in every part of Minnesota. Having so many stakeholders in so many diverse communities can provide invaluable guidance for Extension as we look toward the future.
This edition of Source shows how Extension’s programs have an impact across the state, nation and world. As you read the stories, I hope you will think about this question: What additional needs does your community have that Extension could address through its educational programming? We would like to hear from you, whether that is through a note, an email or phone call, or simply visiting with an Extension representative.
Extension thrives because of its partnerships and because of your support. I am looking forward to developing our new strategic plan, and to sharing it with you as Extension adapts and thrives in the future.
