4-H clover Anoka County 4-H Arts-In

Anoka County Arts-In is a summer performing arts/leadership experience for youth who have completed grades 2 through one year post-high school.

Singing, dancing, and acting, plus leadership and team-building activities culminate in a 30-minute musical revue that is performed during the Anoka County Fair and the Minnesota State Fair.

Youth who have completed grade 6 or higher have many opportunities to provide leadership in the program. 

Requirements for participants

  • Register and pay the fee by June 15.
  • Attend the required four rehearsals at the fairgrounds.

Audience

  • Anoka County 4-H members in grades 2 and up.

Cost

$100 per participant

  • Fee includes all meals, printed Arts-In t-shirt, costume t-shirt (if needed), music, miscellaneous supplies & some of the program costs.
  • Fee does not cover additional costume requirements, MN State Fair participation or optional photo/DVD orders.

Checks should be made payable to Anoka County 4-H and can be dropped off at our office Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. There is a secure drop box located outside our office door if staff are not present.

Register by Monday, June 15 through your 4-H Online account

  • If you have a family account in 4-H Online, login and then click on Events on the left side of the screen; event is "Anoka County 4-H Arts-In". Then select member's name. On the next screen, click “Start Registration”.
  • If you are new to 4-H, you'll need to set up an account. Creating an account does not require commitment for future participation. Select "In Person Camp/Event - Anoka County", for Club and "Performing Arts or Cloverbud" and any other projects of interest for projects. Once your account is approved, view the 4-H Online event registration guide for help in registering for the event.
