Research and community-focused approach
Our approach to leadership and civic engagement is grounded in research. But we always keep the real needs of communities in mind. Blending these perspectives, we create models that inform our work with leaders and help design educational programs in communities.
Leadership model
Our leadership model recognizes that leaders are doers. It considers what community leaders need to know and do to be successful. We use this model to design programs that help leaders develop themselves, their relationships and their approach to leadership.
Civic engagement model
Our civic engagement model provides a step-by-step approach communities can take when they engage in decision making. We help leaders understand the importance of each step and provide tools and strategies to develop an effective decision-making process.
Social capital model
Our social capital model describes how relationships make a difference in communities. We help leaders and groups look at where networks are strong and weak in their community. With this information, communities can become connected in new and helpful ways.
