Suicide prevention for agricultural communities
NAMI Minnesota and University of Minnesota Extension are partnering to offer suicide-prevention classes tailored to farming communities. We aim to change the public perception in agricultural communities and better equip the community to identify and help people who may be having thoughts of suicide.
We offer a virtual 90-minute suicide prevention program called QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) to help individuals learn the three steps anyone can take to help prevent suicide. A certificate of attendance is available for this class and will be sent after you fill out the evaluation.
