4-H YELLO conference
Youth Exploring Leadership and Learning Opportunities (YELLO) is an exciting and fun 4-H civic engagement and leadership conference that engages youth in activities to prepare them to learn and lead in their communities. Nearly 300 youth from across Minnesota take part in the event each year.
YELLO is planned and facilitated by youth leaders - the Minnesota 4-H State Ambassadors.
The 2020 experience, YELLO-ish, will be held online and will include a sampling of the typical YELLO activities - morning kick-off sessions, educational workshops led by youth and adults, small group meetings led by the State Ambassadors and evening social activities.
For participants
Anyone in grades 7 through one year past high school are welcome to attend.
Register for YELLO-ish by June 8.
If you are not a current 4-H member, we’d love to have you! Contact your local 4-H office or email the event coordinator at yello@umn.edu to participate!
The schedule generally includes the same elements each year - educational sessions led by youth and/or adults, service projects in local communities, messages from nationally-recognized keynote speakers, social experiences, and occasional field trips.
This event has been happening for 100 years! We are excited to be kicking off the next century by including some celebratory activities. Already registered? Learn more about this year's activities!
There is no cost to attend YELLO-ish this year! Participants will need an electronic device to join the webinar sessions. This is a great opportunity to see a sampling of the typical activities!
