As we age, our bodies become more susceptible to experiencing foodborne illness. The good news: there are actions you can take to minimize food safety risks. 

During this webinar, you will learn how you can control the temperatures of foods during storage, preparation, cooking, and handling leftovers.

  • Amy Johnston is a UMN Extension educator specializing in food safety. She develops classes on food preservation, business requirements, and farm-to-institution programs. Amy focuses on equipping Minnesotans with the essential skills and knowledge needed to safely engage with and support the local food system.
