Help support teachers in Goodhue County by donating essential school supplies! Goodhue County 4-H youth leaders voted to organize a school supply drive to ensure students and teachers start the school year ready to learn and succeed.
What We Need
We are collecting the following items to benefit local public schools:
- Expo dry erase markers (both black and mixed)
- Facial tissues
- Sanitizing wipes
- 2-pocket folders
- Crayola markers (washable preferred)
- Blunt tip scissors (Fiskars preferred)
When and Where to Donate
Bring your donations to the Goodhue County Fair, happening August 11-15. Look for the Goodhue County 4-H collection drop-off in the 4-H building. At the end of the fair, Goodhue County 4-H will deliver these supplies to participating schools.
In addition to the community supply drive, Goodhue County 4-H Clubs will be participating in a “pencil war” to collect pencils for each of the schools. The club who collects the most pencils will receive a pizza party in the fall!
