Summit training and workshop offerings

Engaging in positive youth and adult partnerships is central to 4-H's mission. During this year's annual volunteer training, youth and adults will center the vision of 4-H where “youth and adults learn, grow and work together as catalysts for positive change."
Youth and adults will leave this training with steps to strengthen youth voices and create environments where adults support youth to lead.
The officer training is designed to equip leaders with the skills and knowledge to lead and manage their club, committee or council effectively.
Participants will engage in hands-on activities, including practicing team builders and icebreakers to strengthen group dynamics. The session also includes role-specific training to help leaders excel in their positions, as well as an introduction to parliamentary procedures and meeting basics to ensure organized and productive gatherings.

Attend the quality clubs workshop to create purposeful agendas that keep participants engaged and on track, and learn how to warmly welcome new members, making them feel included and valued.
We’ll also explore strategies to foster meaningful youth and adult engagement through activities that encourage collaboration, respect and active participation. Discover how to build a dynamic and inclusive environment that supports effective meetings and events for all.
The committees workshop will provide strategies for creating clear organization and structure in meetings, defining roles for youth and adults to ensure balanced participation and designing engaging spaces that foster collaboration and community across all ages.
