Kanabec County is sponsoring a household hazardous waste collection on Saturday, Oct. 12. Proceeds from this event benefit Kanabec County 4-H youth development programs.
The collection event is free of charge to all Kanabec County property owners and residents to safely dispose of household hazardous wastes. If you have questions on what items are eligible for collection and how to transport them for disposal, contact Kanabec County Environmental Services 320-679-6456 or env@co.kanabec.mn.us.

Note: We reserve the right to refuse items. Items refused—except for hazardous waste will be disposed of as garbage; owner pays fees. Owner must remove hazardous waste if not preregistered for the household hazardous waste collection.

Registration
Pre-registration for the household hazardous waste collection is required and must be submitted to Kanabec County Environmental Services at 320-679-6456 by Oct. 1.
There is no registration for the cleanup day portion of the event.
