Join us on Oct. 2, from 11 a.m. to noon CT, to learn about educational program development in 4-H plant science programming, which focuses on designing and implementing experiential learning opportunities for youth.
The 4-H plant science programs are designed to enhance students' understanding of plants, horticulture and environmental science by combining curriculum design principles with hands-on activities. Participants engage in experiences that promote critical thinking, teamwork and leadership while addressing real-world agricultural challenges. This approach not only fosters a deep appreciation for plant science but also equips youth with the skills and knowledge necessary for future academic and career success in related fields.
Webinar participants will gain insights into effectively applying program planning steps as they prepare their own programs. The session will include real-life examples of challenges and successful strategies, enabling participants to apply these lessons learned to improve their own program planning.
