Equipment demonstrations on manure hose carts and boom pumps hosted by the Minnesota Custom Applicator Association and demonstrated by:

CAWTs are not required to stay after the course ends at 11:45. However, we strongly encourage you to visit vendors and attend the manure equipment demonstrations. Bring your friends and family!

  • 1:30-2:30 p.m. Manure equipment demonstrations

This offering is delivered in English. Interpreter services may be available with an advance request.

Cost

Recertification fee: $10 to be paid on site by cash, credit card or check payable to UMN Extension

Admission to FarmFest: $10 at the gate or $8 online

Registration

There is no registration for the recertification training. You can buy advance tickets to FarmFest on their site.

Recertification requirements

CAWT license informationLicense requirements from the Minnesota Department of Agriculture.

 License lookup: Look up your CAWT license number or expiration date.

  • New applicators: If you have not been previously certified and licensed, you must watch the videos and take a quiz from the MN Department of Agriculture.  See initial certification instructions. 
  • Certified applicators: To be eligible to renew your license, you must meet recertification requirements. You can either rewatch the videos and retake a quiz every year or attend a recertification course every other year.  
  • New site managers: If you have not been previously certified and licensedyou must first pass the certification exam (80% or better) for an initial license. See initial certification instructions.
  • Certified site managers: To be eligible to renew your license you must meet recertification requirements by attending a course once every other year or re-test.
