4-H clover Roseau County 4-H tidbit - August 2024

Upcoming news, events and opportunities

August

August 18 -  Roseau County 4-H Leader Council (5:15 p.m.) at the Roseau County boardroom. Agenda will include Election of officers for the 2024-25 4-H Year and 4-H year reflection!

  • We invite all youth grade 9+ interested in a 4-H leadership opportunity to attend the meeting in person. Be prepared to share who you are, what you like about 4-H and why you want an officer position. The positions open include President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. This is a great opportunity to grow your leadership and give your voice to the 4-H program! The commitment for the year includes a minimum of 6 and no more than 9 meetings (usually every other month) for 1.5-2 hours in length. Treasurers' time is a bit more as they attend the meetings and take care of monthly bills and balancing finances each month for a total of approximately 1-2 hours per month on average. Reminder, each club gets 2 votes (1 youth and 1 adult) and should be represented at every meeting.

  • We highly encourage everyone to be in person, but if not, you may Join Zoom Meeting. Zoom link was emailed to families in August tidbits.
