4-H clover Volunteer Reference Guide

This is the time of the year when so many questions arise around volunteering: leading a club, finances, charters, not to mention you want to kick of the year right and make a great meeting happen! The MN 4-H website provides a wealth of information but I know it can be hard to navigate at times. To aid you all I have created a volunteer quick reference guide that links a variety of items that may be valuable to you as you volunteer with 4-H.

*Note you need internet access to use the document as intended as it links to the MN 4-H website as well as other online resources.

Access the volunteer reference guide

Headings include:

  • Club leader resources
  • Officers
  • Lesson Materials and Activities
  • New Member & Enrollment
  • Quality Programming
  • Keeping Youth Safe
  • Training Opportunities
  • Financial Practices

Feel free to 'comment' on the document if there is something you see missing, or something you have found very valuable (and why) so others can learn from you.

In the year ahead I hope to offer more specific highlights of some of these items and hope you will engage with me as we continue to learn and grow together!
