In the 4-H Engineering Design Challenge, youth develop critical thinking, creativity, innovation and problem-solving skills, and have fun at the same time! Each year, teams of youth in grades 3 and up and family teams solve a theme-based engineering challenge.

Fair time is around the corner and the Extension office has already started to plan. We need your help! Youth of any age are invited to design the next 4-H fair t-shirt!

It’s time to start working with your 4-H animal projects. We hope you find your projects both challenging and rewarding. You will need to identify all 4-H animal projects; breeding heifers, cow/calf pairs, prospect calves (steers and heifers), dairy, dairy goats, dog, horse, llama-alpaca, meat goats, poultry (doves and pigeons), rabbits, sheep, and swine. Animals MUST be identified in 4-H Online by May 16, 2022. All market beef should have been identified by February 15, 2022. Cloverbuds do not need to identify animals at this time.

The Extension Office is excited to announce that Crow Wing County has filled the Ambassador lead volunteer positions with two 4-H alumni members. Abby Schreier and Jessica Otto are looking forward to partnering with the Crow Wing County youth leaders as they serve the community, promote 4-H, provide educational opportunities, and have FUN together!
