Learn about their cultural significance over time and what scientists know about them today. As we ride the peak of an 11-year cycle in 2024 and 2025, we have many more chances to see them. We won't be viewing the Northern Lights as part of this program but we will include tips on how you can improve your chances of seeing them. We will review apps and the best local viewing areas, and learn how to get involved with NASA's Aurorasaurus citizen science project from one of their local volunteers.
