Summer Dairy Field Days
Our summer field days are held at locations across Minnesota and provide opportunities to visit successful dairy operations. Learn about each dairy's unique features and learn from other farmers. Presenters include members of the host farm families and University of Minnesota Extension faculty.
Winter Dairy Series
U of M Extension partners with other organizations to host a variety of winter dairy educational events throughout Minnesota. The Winter Dairy Series is held December through April. Hear from local and other experts who will address the key issues affecting dairy farmers.
Precision Dairy Conference
The Precision Dairy Farming Conference includes national and international speakers who are experts in the field of precision dairy management, producer panels, industry updates and the latest research abstracts. The conference also features an optional farm tour.
Four-State Dairy Nutrition and Management Conference
The Dairy Nutrition and Management Conference presents the latest research on issues concerning the dairy industry. It is a collaborative effort of Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, University of Illinois Extension, University of Minnesota Extension and University of Wisconsin-Extension.
Carver County Dairy Expo
For almost 30 years, the Carver County Dairy Expo has introduced production benchmarks and resources for better herd management. The annual event covers dairy industry outlook, management techniques and dairy technologies. Hosted in February by the University of Minnesota Extension and the Carver County Dairy Core Team, the expo draws over 300 area dairy producers and dairy industry professionals.
I29 Dairy Programming
The I29 Moo University is a collaborative effort of the Extension services from the University of Minnesota, Iowa State University, and South Dakota State University along with those states' dairy industry trade associations. Our educational efforts include webinars, podcasts, field days and meetings.
