The Precision Dairy Farming Conference includes national and international speakers who are experts in the field of precision dairy management, producer panels, industry updates and the latest research abstracts. The conference also features an optional farm tour.
The Dairy Nutrition and Management Conference presents the latest research on issues concerning the dairy industry. It is a collaborative effort of Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, University of Illinois Extension, University of Minnesota Extension and University of Wisconsin-Extension.
For almost 30 years, the Carver County Dairy Expo has introduced production benchmarks and resources for better herd management. The annual event covers dairy industry outlook, management techniques and dairy technologies. Hosted in February by the University of Minnesota Extension and the Carver County Dairy Core Team, the expo draws over 300 area dairy producers and dairy industry professionals.
Summer Dairy Field Days
Our summer field days are held at locations across Minnesota and provide opportunities to visit successful dairy operations. Learn about each dairy's unique features and learn from other farmers. Presenters include members of the host farm families and University of Minnesota Extension faculty. This event is canceled for 2020 and will resume in the summer of 2021.
