4-H clover 4-H plant science project

Get ready to learn more about agronomy, ag technology, crops, plant and soil science, weeds and pests!

What can you do?

In the plant science project, you can:

  • Explore ag technology and how it has improved farming practices, changed farming, improved farmers' resources, etc.
  • Investigate how cross-pollination works.
  • Discover how plants are used other than for food.
  • Learn about the impacts certain weeds and pests can have on the farming industry.

These are just some of the many ways you can participate in this project.

We want to hear from you

If you’re a 4-H member in kindergarten through one year past high school, we’d love for you to take this short survey. We want to learn how you use (or don't use) plant ID apps, and what makes them helpful or challenging. Your feedback will help us create better resources for choosing and using these tools.

This survey is led by the Invasive Species Education Community of Practice (IS CoP), a group of Extension and university professionals who work together on invasive species education and research.
