Ben C., Minnesota 4-H Agriculture Ambassador

Hi, my name is Ben. I am a 11th grader at Crookston High School in Polk County. 

This is my eighth year being involved in 4-H and my second year as a 4-H Agriculture Ambassador. As a 4-H Agriculture Ambassador, I am happy to share my knowledge in crops, seed production and the mechanics behind agricultural equipment. I am ready to educate and talk with others about a variety of important agriculture topics, but I am specifically interested in crops and agriculture equipment. 

I participate in many project areas, including crop science, mechanical science, industrial technologies, youth leadership and more. I am also serving as both a club and county officer. At the state level, I exhibit projects and demonstrations at the state fair, and I have done well in the crop scouting contest. 

I am operating my own crop farm, where I have grown sunflowers and soybeans on about 80 acres. Outside of 4-H, you can find me working on our family farm, reading or tinkering on something.
