How can we teach so that the learning sticks? Explore how young people learn, what causes them to disengage from learning, and ways to ensure that the learning environment and the teaching itself is effective and engaging.
Make learning come alive in real and tangible by incorporating specific strategies for immersing youth in their own learning.
This training can be tailored for different programs, like STEM, middle school or short-term settings.
Who should attend
This workshop is intended for those who provide direct service to youth, but may also be useful for those who lead/supervise direct service.
