Extension’s Minnesota Master Naturalist volunteers and other ecology-minded Minnesotans took a 9-mile ride near Brainerd with Angela Gupta, Extension forestry educator.
Gupta stopped along the route to teach about native forest ecosystems, roadside vegetation management and invasive species detection and reporting.
It was one of many ways Extension took learning on the road in 2018, engaging with the thousands of Extension volunteers and participants who use University science to do their part to build a stronger Minnesota.
“Learning about nature is my ‘flow,’ that state where time disappears and you are totally
