A multi-stop farm tour featuring local research plots, grain cleaning systems, cover crop strategies, and crop management demonstrations in the Byron area.

Join the Byron area farmers for some on-farm learning and discussion on Thursday, July 9, 4–7 p.m. Participants will visit a few local farms to view oat demonstration plots and farmer-led discussions around nitrogen rates, plant growth regulators, clover stands, and other in-season observations

4 p.m.: Start at Kevin Connelly’s plots: located at County Rd 3 SW, south of 10th St SW (Byron)

Visit additional plots along the route (maps available at the first stop)

5:30 p.m.: Meal and discussion Tom and Aaron Pyfferoen's shop: 53249 275th Ave. Pine Island

Families are welcome for the meal!
