Join the SLC 4-H Dog Project to practice leadership, sportsmanship, and teamwork as you train your dog to compete in a 4-H dog show.

Everyone is welcome to join these fun and energetic training sessions! You can choose to compete with your dog in obedience, rally, or showmanship at the 4-H showcase event or Fun Show this spring and summer. 
Meetings are on Tuesdays from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

June and July Dates: 

  • June 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 - At Golden Paws
  • July 7 - At Golden Paws
  • July - 14, 21, 28 - At Fairgrounds

Audience/Participation Requirements

  • All youth must be in 3rd grade or older. 
  • All youth must be currently enrolled in 4-H to participate.
  • Youth must have a current vaccination record for their dog on file at the St. Louis County Extension Office before the event.

Cost

Cost is $45 for the season. Checks can be made payable to NSL 4-H Federation, and be dropped off or mailed to the St. Louis County Extension Office at 201 S 3rd AVE W., Virginia, MN 55792

Registration

Register in 4-H Online. If new to 4-H, you can enroll in 4-H Online and select "SLC 4-H Dog Project Club" as your club option. For assistance, refer to the event registration guide or contact your local Extension educator.
