4-H clover 2026 Summer Animal Science Overnight Trip

Get up close and personal with livestock-related places in Minnesota!

Hear from industry experts, see different farming methods, and learn about potential careers that revolve around animal science.

Cost includes transportation via coach bus, snacks and water on the bus, supper on the first night of the trip, hotel room lodging, t-shirt, chaperone coverage, and any admission costs.  Participants will also write thank you notes for each stop.  Thank you notes will be provided.  Participants will be responsible for their own lunch on both the first and second day of the tour, and any souvenirs/additional purchases along the way.  Participants are encouraged to bring additional snacks and water.

Trip Schedule

Audience

Waseca County 4-H members who have completed 6th grade and older by the date of the trip.

Cost

$150 per participant - $100 is due by June 1st, with the remaining balance of $50 due by July 15th (invoices will be sent for remainder owed). Garage Sale Scholarships can be applied to this experience.  As a reminder, Waseca County 4-H believes youth should be able to participate regardless of a family's financial means.  If your youth would like to participate and needs financial support, please send an email to Amy at [email protected].  There is no limit to the amount of requests that can be made by a family, or 4-H member, in the 4-H year.  There is also no maximum dollar amount that a youth can use in the 4-H year. "All information submitted is confidential and will only be used by 4-H staff."
