Join the University of Minnesota Extension Dairy Team as we host three summer “Dairy Lunch and Learns” across the state of Minnesota. Come hear some of the latest research and education on key management areas on the farm. These events will be fun for the whole family with access to many beautiful parks and playgrounds.
Each event will run from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m with a complimentary lunch included.
Dates and locations are as follows:
- August 7, 2024 at Ottertail Lake- Amor Park (38002 Eldorado Beach Rd, Battle Lake)
- August 12, 2024 at St. Charles City Park (719 W 6th Street. St. Charles)
- August 13, 2024 at Melrose - Sauk River Park (205 5th Ave NE, Melrose)
All locations will start at 11 a.m. with a brief welcome followed by 4-5 educational stations. Station topics may include calf care, technology, biosecurity, stockmanship, and beef on dairy. Participation in some of the learning stations will qualify for meeting the National Dairy FARM Animal Care Program’s requirement for continuing education.
