It's that time of the year, project bowl/quizbowl season! Pipestone County has had many teams compete over the years in a variety of project areas, but most recently had teams for dairy and general livestock. With the regional competition in Redwood Falls on March 16 it's time to start gaining interest so teams can be formed and recruiting coaches so all can start practicing.
New this year, the general livestock and dairy project bowl areas will be piloting adding a third division of competition; adding in an intermediate division, meaning that the junior division will be for 3rd-5th graders and the intermediate division will be for 6th-8th graders. The senior level division will stay the same, for grades 9+. Other project areas will continue having two divisions for the time being.

Project areas teams had in 2023 included: General Livestock & Dairy Project areas available to have teams: dairy, dog, general livestock, horse, llama/alpaca, poultry, and rabbit Please note, for all these 4-Hers wanting to participate we're in need of coaches and adult volunteers willing to help. Coaching can be handled in a variety of ways, if you're an adult interested in helping out, please notify 4-H staff.
