4-H clover Mower County 4-H Program Guide: Cloverbuds

Learn about the programs available for our Cloverbuds (grades K-2) in Mower County 4-H. Note: The programs offered each year may vary based on interest, resources and volunteers.

Cloverbud Day Camp

Day camps are a great way for kids to learn about different project areas. They are held during the summer. Registration information is sent out in the spring.

Mower County Fair

County fair is often a highlight of a 4-H member’s year. It provides a great opportunity for youth to showcase some of the learning and projects they have done throughout the year. For each 4-H member the county fair provides a way of “wrapping up” their learning because each project is exhibited before a judge. This is a great opportunity to gain confidence and public speaking skills. It is also a very fun week filled with great friends, fun events and good food!

Cloverbuds participate in age-appropriate, noncompetitive activities at the county fair.
