4-H clover Itasca County 4-H Drill Team

Drill Team will meet Tuesday, February 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the Itasca County Courthouse to work on patterns, music, and goal setting.  Drill Team requires a commitment to the team.

Requirements:

1.  Horse Drill Team is open to all active 4-H members in grades 6+ for the competitive team. Grades 3+ may have a non-competitive option depending on interest level. Riders must have a owned or leased horses to ride (must have lease agreement if horse is not owned).

2. Riders must be able to demonstrate the ability to control their horse at a walk, trot and stop in order to be on drill team at the beginning level.

3.  Cost:  $15 per drill team member - must be paid before the first practice you attend (no refunds).

4.  Coggins:  must submit proof of negative Coggins for any horse used at drill team practice prior to attending riding practices.

4.  Registration:  Complete the registration form below before participating in practices.

5.  All participants in events in Itasca County 4-H that involve animals must have a designated adult on site that takes on the responsibility of the participant and their animal.  The participant and adult must both be aware of this commitment.
