4-H clover The fair couldn't happen without you. Thank You.

We are truly inspired by the dedication and hard work our 4-H members put into completing their projects and contributing to others. Every year at the fair, we are reminded of the incredible talent and potential our 4-H youth possess. While it might have been easier to stay home, we’re so glad you chose the more rewarding path of learning, growing, and making a difference. With such an outstanding group of young people, the future of our communities is bright. Well done, 4-H'ers.

A special thank you goes out to our club leaders for your guidance and support in helping every 4-H member and their projects shine at the fair. Your volunteer time is invaluable, and we couldn’t do it without you. We also extend our deepest gratitude to the animal superintendents for their leadership, organization, and tireless work in preparing for the fair, securing trophy sponsors, keeping things running smoothly in the animal barns, and putting on fantastic shows. Your commitment is crucial to the success of our animal projects.

We’re also incredibly grateful to the Ribbon Auction Committee and all the volunteers who made this year’s event a resounding success. Special thanks to Clint Gehrke, Pat Remiger, Angie DeVos, Paul Lanoue, and Greg Carlson. The Ribbon Auction raised over $119,000 this year, breaking last year’s record of $104,000—an outstanding achievement for Lyon County 4-H. Remember, 80% of the premiums go directly back to the 4-H'er's.

To all the volunteers who contributed throughout the year and during the fair, your efforts did not go unnoticed. We appreciate everyone who pitched in at the snack shack and food stand, helping make the fair a memorable experience for all. A huge thank you to our food stand manager, Cassandra Stidman, for running the operation smoothly and efficiently.

We’d also like to recognize Vince Wambeke, the Federation’s adult treasurer, for his diligent management of the Federation’s finances and active participation in the fair.

Our thanks also go out to the ambassadors for their help with pre-fair judging and animal show announcements, as well as to Paul Lanoue, Lacie Truwe, Alyssia Coudron, and Charlie Olson for serving as State Fair chaperones.

Finally, a big thank you to the Lyon County Fair Board for your unwavering support and hard work in ensuring the continued success of our county fair and Lyon County 4-H. And to everyone who pitched in for pre- and post-fair cleanup, we couldn’t have done it without you. Each year, we prove that together, we are our greatest asset.

Thank you all for your incredible contributions. Here’s to another successful year in Lyon County 4-H.
