Recently a group of youth from north St. Louis County 4-H attended the 2022 Building Leadership and Understanding (BLU) leadership workshops! This year's theme was "Find Your Path" and youth learned about identifying and finding their passions through hands-on activities and discussions led by the State Ambassadors.
Here is what a few of the youth had to say about their experience:
Avah W. Wilpen 4-H Club:
BLU was a good time. I met new friends and we got to do fun things and learn about leadership. I learned that finding my passion helps me to be a leader. I LOVE cows so it wasn't hard to find my passion. I want to be a nutritionist for Purina and help kids to learn about feeding their show animals after work.
JJ W. Wilpen 4-H Club:
I got to meet new friends at BLU. I liked snowshoeing and working in small and large groups was a good way to learn new things. I learned that I don't really know what my passion is yet and that's okay. I am going to enjoy starting my projects for this year and try new things to find my passion.
