Modern homesteading doesn’t have to mean living off-grid, owning dozens of acres, or doing everything yourself. The University of Minnesota Extension will host the Modern Homesteading Conference on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at Park Rapids High School, designed for everyday people who want to become more self-reliant while balancing work, family and busy schedules.
The St. Louis County - 4-H Competitive Events: Deadlines, Consequences and Exemptions document is designed to assist 4-H members, families and 4-H staff in understanding state and county 4-H individual competitive event deadlines, consequences applied to each situation/deadline, and the use of the one-time exemption to remove all consequences for a single situation/deadline.
Minnesota 4-H’ers from 87 counties arrived with over 2,778 animals at the 2026 “Great Minnesota Get-Together” for this year’s 4-H livestock encampment.
