All youth participating as a Minnesota State Fair 4-H livestock exhibitor in beef, dairy, sheep, swine, poultry, rabbits, meat goat, dairy goat and llama-alpaca must complete a Livestock Quality Assurance (LQA) training.
Youth who were certified in LQA&E in 2023 or before, YQCA in 2025 or before or have not yet been certified in any livestock quality assurance training and want to be eligible to participate at the Minnesota State Fair must certify this year in either LQA&E or YQCA. If you are unsure if you need to be certified, please reach out to your local 4-H program to verify.
For more information on the LQA&E requirements, check out the Minnesota 4-H Livestock Quality Assurance Policy.
Note: No late arrivals will be admitted, you must be present for the entire training to receive your certification.
If you are unable to attend an in-person training, you may complete a one-year online YQCA training.
