All youth participating as a Minnesota State Fair 4-H livestock exhibitor in beef, dairy, goats (dairy and meat), llama/alpaca, poultry, rabbit, sheep, swine must complete Livestock Quality Assurance & Ethics (LQA&E) training. In person training is good for three (3) fair seasons.
Levels: Youth in grades 6-8 should take Level 1, youth in grades 9-13 should take Level 2. Youth in grades 6-8, who have taken Level 1, may take Level 2 based on your livestock project experience.
Registration will start at 8:45 a.m. with training starting at 9:00 a.m.
NOTE: No late arrivals will be admitted- you must be present for the entire training to receive your certification.

If you are unable to attend an in-person training, you may complete a one-year online YQAC training.
Contact your local Extension office if you are unsure if you need to take the LQA&E training.
