All youth participating as a Minnesota State Fair 4-H livestock exhibitor in beef, dairy, goat (dairy and meat), llama-alpaca, poultry, rabbits, and swine must complete Livestock Quality Assurance & Ethics (LQA&E) training.
Youth who certified in LQA&E in 2021 or before and youth who have not yet been certified in any livestock quality assurance training and want to be eligible for state-level shows must certify this year in either LQA&E or YQCA. Contact your Extension office if you are unsure if you need to be re-certified or if you have questions.
For more information on the LQA&E requirements, check out the Minnesota 4-H Livestock Quality Assurance Policy.
NOTE: No late arrivals will be admitted- you must be present for the entire training to receive your certification.
If you are unable to attend an in-person training, you may complete a one-year online YQCA training.
