Join us for the Mankato Region 4-H Annual Officer and Volunteer/Leadership Training on Nov. 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The training will be held in St. Peter on the Gustavus Adolphus College campus in Nobel Hall's Wallenberg Auditorium.
This training is designed for 4-H officers, youth ambassadors, volunteers, 4-H leaders and livestock leaders, but all 4-H'ers are welcomed to attend.
A free boxed lunch will be provided.
Schedule
- 9 a.m. - Registration in the Nobel Hall Entrance
- 9-9:45 a.m. - Welcome, logistics and keynote in the Wallenberg Auditorium
- 10-10:50 a.m. - Sessions 1:
- Reporter and historian session (any youth)
- Local ambassador brainstorm session (youth in grades 7+)
- Annual volunteer training
- 11-11:50 a.m. - Sessions 2:
- Club recreation session
- Secretary session
- Continued annual volunteer training
- Noon-12:45 p.m. - Free lunch and world café activity
- 12:45-1:30 p.m. - Sessions 3:
- President and vice president session
- Risk management
- Treasurer session
- 1:45-2:30 p.m. - Sessions 4:
- Including Cloverbuds in clubs
- 4-H and FFA crop scouting
- Continued treasurer session
- 2:30-3 p.m. - Evaluation and closing
Audience
All 4-H'ers and volunteers in Le Sueur, Sibley, Brown, Nicollet, Faribault and Blue Earth counties.
