Engineering Simple Machines
This series is a collection of five lessons that use the engineering design process as a framework to encourage youth to create, test, demonstrate and evaluate simple machines and their application to everyday life. The final lesson involves creating a Rube Goldberg™ type of machine to solve a challenge.
Designed for grades 3-8 at a project club or after-school program.
