Huber Family
The Huber family farm began in 1928 when Nick and Mabel Huber purchased the property. In 1959, Lester and Delores Huber took over the operation, raising corn and soybeans along with hogs, chickens and cattle.
In 1984, Larry and LuAnne Huber assumed management of the farm, and continued producing corn and soybeans while finishing beef cattle.
In 2018, Tyler and Steph Huber joined the operation and expanded the business by adding a seed dealership with Beck’s Hybrids. They built a seed warehouse and increased the acres of corn and soybeans grown.
The family currently raises 60 head of beef cattle. Tyler and Steph have four children — Brynn, Barrett, Briar and Beau — who represent the next generation on the farm.
As a youth, Tyler was very active in 4-H and FFA. Today, he gives back by serving as vice president of the Waseca County Fair Board and as a sponsor and donor for 4-H programs.
